Who We Serve

The work you do is worth seeing.

The communications capacity your mission needs and your budget can’t hire.

The Situation

Your programs change lives every day. But between the funder who needs evidence, the donor who needs a reason, and the neighbor who doesn’t know you exist, there’s a gap — and closing it has become a full-time job that nobody on your staff was hired to do.

What We Do About It

Tomahawk Media Group becomes the communications capacity your mission needs and your budget can’t hire. We document your impact, tell your story, manage your digital presence, and give your team back the hours they’ve been spending on things that aren’t the work.

So the organizations doing the most good aren’t losing ground to the ones that are simply better at talking about it.
What Makes This Different

How we approach this market.

Communications capacity, not agency overhead.

We function as your team, not as a vendor billing against your program budget.

We know how you're funded.

Grant cycles, funder expectations, reporting requirements and board governance — we work within them, not around them.

Your impact, documented.

Photography, video and stories that serve your grant reports and your donor appeals at the same time.

One partner across media, marketing and technology.

Website, content, donor systems and events — coordinated, not fragmented.

Founder-led.

The person who assesses your organization is the person accountable for the outcome.

Signature Offer

The Mission Communications Partnership

Communications capability built around your fiscal and grant calendar, not around a service menu.

01

Communications & Capacity Assessment

Paid discovery · 3–4 weeks

A full evaluation of how the organization communicates with both audiences: website and digital presence, brand and messaging consistency, donor communications and retention, impact documentation practices, systems and data infrastructure, event and campaign assets, and staff capacity. Delivered as a board-ready and funder-ready findings document, a roadmap phased against your fiscal and grant calendar, and a working session with the Executive Director — including capacity-building funding sources that may support the recommended work.

02

Foundation Build

Project · phased to funding

Execution sequenced against grant cycles and fiscal-year timing rather than against a service menu. Typically website, brand and messaging, and an initial body of impact content that immediately serves both grant reporting and donor communications.

03

Mission Communications Partnership

Monthly retainer · ongoing

Ongoing content production, digital management, donor and community communications, systems support, and quarterly strategy review with leadership and board. Scales into a Fractional Media Director engagement as the relationship matures.
