Tomahawk Media Group is being built as a regional strategic consultancy that integrates media, marketing and technology — not as a vendor selling deliverables.
Tomahawk leads with strategy and judgment. Media, marketing, AV and technology are the services through which strategy is delivered — they are not the identity of the business.
That distinction is not semantic. It determines how engagements begin, how they are priced, and why the work holds together. A client comparing three website quotes cannot compare us, because we have not quoted a website — we have diagnosed a visibility problem of which the website is one finding.
Our distinguishing capability is spanning strategy, media, marketing and technology together — an integration most competitors cannot offer because their businesses are structured around a single discipline.
We are built to serve multiple markets across a region rather than one town — a decision about structure and ambition, not just geography.
The project is a bridge, not the product. What we are actually building with a client is an ongoing relationship in which the systems keep working.
Competing on price for deliverables is a race we have chosen not to enter.
The value is in the integration. Splitting it apart removes the reason to hire us.
We diagnose before we quote. If an organization only wants a price on a predetermined deliverable, we are probably the wrong partner.
Owner and Principal Consultant
Dwayne brings an uncommon combination to this work: enterprise IT depth and hands-on live production experience. His background spans systems administration, infrastructure engineering, desktop engineering and special project consulting for organizations including MassMutual, Hartford Steam Boiler, TJX and Trinity Health Care — imaging and deployment, networking, SCCM, teleconferencing, vendor management and cross-functional team leadership.
Alongside that, he owns and operates Sound Guyz Event Solutions, Inc., an AV and live event production company delivering multi-camera production, video wall systems and broadcast-grade signal flow.
That pairing is the reason Tomahawk can sit at the seam between the marketing agency and the systems integrator — and speak credibly to a pastor, an IT director and a board in the same week.
Clarity here matters, because contracts, invoices and insurance follow it.
The legal entity. It contracts, invoices, holds insurance and bears liability.
The operating brand — a doing-business-as of Patterson Business Consulting, LLC. The name in the market and on proposals.
A separate corporation, not a division. The relationship is coordination between two businesses under written procedure.
Paid diagnosis, delivered as a plain-language findings document and a phased roadmap you can act on — with us or without us. It is a product, not a sales call.
