Most organizations that call us have already been quoted. Usually more than once, by more than one vendor, for more than one thing. What they have almost never been given is a diagnosis.

That is the gap we work in, and it is why every customized engagement here begins with a paid assessment rather than a free proposal.

A quote without a diagnosis is a guess

A fixed-price project quote issued before anyone has evaluated the systems, the presence, the staffing and the calendar is a guess dressed up as a number. Guesses get corrected later — through change orders, scope arguments, or a system that technically got installed and practically never got used.

The assessment converts the guess into a specification. That protects the budget on both sides of the table.

What you actually receive

It is priced and sold independently, and it is delivered whether or not you proceed to implementation. You own the roadmap either way.

When a full assessment is not the right call

Narrowly defined work with clear scope and low risk can begin with compensated discovery instead. The governing rule is that diagnosis is proportionate to complexity — never skipped, and never free.

The honest reason

An organization unwilling to pay for diagnosis will not sustain a partnership, and a partnership is what actually solves the problem. Better for everyone to find that out in week one than in month seven.
